My name is Dani Hopkins, and I am an educator who has worked with children and teens ranging from transitional kindergartners to high school seniors. I currently work as a general education paraprofessional, focusing on Tier 2 intervention for 8th graders to prepare them for high school. I have worked as a yoga teacher, children’s theatre actor, and most frequently as a professional composer for podcasts and stage productions. I began substitute teaching in 2017 and was reminded of the joy and fulfillment that comes along with working alongside young people. I am currently earning my multiple subject K-8 teaching credential at Cal State Long Beach.
